On November 6th, the FrHyGe project was showcased at the European Association of Geoscientists and Engineers (EAGE) – GET24 conference in Rotterdam.
During the session
“Underground Hydrogen Storage Pilot Projects: Salt Caverns”, experts shared key insights:
Arnaud Réveillère, Head of the Salt Cavern and Porous Media Department at Geostock, discussed salt cavern completion, conversion, and mechanical integrity testing (MIT) for hydrogen storage.
Laurent Escaré, Head of Geosciences and Solution Mining at Storengy – ENGIE, presented the FrHyGe project, focusing on cycling hydrogen in salt caverns.
EAGE connects geoscience and engineering professionals to address the energy transition. The conference includes four technical conferences on Offshore Wind Energy, Carbon Capture & Storage, Geothermal Energy, and Hydrogen & Energy Storage.
