FrHyGe kicked off its 2025 events season at Meet4Hydrogen exhibition in France

🚀 On March 25–26, the Meet4Hydrogen exhibition was held in Marseille (France), bringing together the HyPort conventions, focused on maritime, inland-waterway, and port sectors, and HySky, oriented toward the aviation, airport, and aerospace industries.

🗓️ During the “Germany session,” Olivier Delprat, FrHyGe coordinator, presented the European cooperation aimed at advancing hydrogen-storage technology in salt caverns.

The session also included Dr. Stefan Kaufmann, Member of the German Parliament and former Innovation Commissioner for Green Hydrogen, as well as specialists from Argo-Anleg GmbH and FEV Group.

🤝 While this panel highlighted Franco-German collaboration, it is part of a larger effort bringing together multiple European partners working toward a shared goal.

💡 FrHyGe’s roadmap is structured into three main phases:

Phase 1 – Full qualification (TRL 8) of the system at the Manosque demonstration site (France), based on the defined conversion strategy.

Phase 2 – Commercial scale-up of the Manosque site (TRL 9) and transfer of know-how for replication in Germany (SaltHy project).

Phase 3 – EU-wide deployment via a technical conversion roadmap, including risk and environmental assessments to guide the commercial-exploitation strategy.

A great opportunity to connect with experts from Germany, France, and beyond for the future of hydrogen in Europe!
